We first heard about the therapeutic technology "Focused Ultrasound", through the Consumer Technology Association when they reached out to us to help tell the remarkable story of Julia, a woman who’s essential tremors greatly interfered with her everyday life.

Documenting the procedure and her life afterward, we chose to have Julia tell the story from her own point of view. Our cameras captured Julia's radiant smile and positive attitude throughout the remarkable process. And we’ll never forget her reaction when the tremors stopped… (see at 02:14 in the feature!)
As storytellers, we were honored to help show how tech can truly be life-changing. The impact of Julia’s story led us to capturing two more stories with the Focused Ultrasound Foundation, where we featured Tom and Terri with their equally moving experiences.
